Find a large, empty plastic spray bottle. Using a funnel, pour in the following ingredients:
| ¼ cup | plain salt | 60 ml |
| 2 teaspoons | dishwashing liquid | 10 ml |
| 4 cups | white vinegar | 1 litre |
Spray this into the centre of the weed. You want to get a shot of the spray into the CENTRE of the plant, so that it goes right down into the root, and nowhere else (as, for example, on the surrounding grass!). It may take some days for the plant to die, so have a bit of patience.
If it rains (and washes this stuff off), you may need a repeat spray.
